The Library of Congress has added nineteen student anthologies published by 826DC to its permanent collections—spanning more than a decade of work, from 2011 to 2025. Each volume emerged from one of 826DC’s signature writing residencies in local schools and community centers, where students are supported in creating original work around a central theme and genre. Together, these books represent fifteen years of the organization’s commitment to the DC community.
